Over the course of my internship at OZ Architecture, I contributed to conceptual and schematic design work for a variety of multifamily housing projects ranging from affordable housing developments to luxury apartments. My work included SketchUp modeling, Revit unit floor plans, facade design studies, renderings, animations, and diagrams, giving me valuable hands-on experience in both the conceptual and technical aspects of the design process.
Beyond design production, I participated in site visits and OAC meetings, gaining direct exposure to construction processes and project coordination. OZ also had Lunch & Learn’s for AIA credits every week where I learned more about BIM management, new materials, ARE exams, and more.
